My husband and I lead a small group (Bible study) for our church and have been blessed beyond comprehension at how well we all "fit" together. I don't think there's ever been a time I didn't look forward to having group. Our conversations are deep, sometimes funny, and thought provoking. Our kids play well together and we all play well together, too.
However, the last time we met an interesting question was thrown out.
Do pets go to Heaven?
I asked my son this question awhile back and, with the innocence of a child, he simply stated "No."
I LOVE my pets and have never really questioned whether they would meet me at the Pearly Gates, (I just assumed) but as the topic heated up in our group, I came to wonder; is this something addressed in the Bible.
We meet again this Friday and their "homework" was to try to find an answer (if that's even possible).
My question to you is....what do you think (or know)? Do pets go to Heaven?

Yeah! I think I'm your first comment! Francie is so going to heaven. But alligators are not. Neither are snakes. I have absolutely no scripture to back that up. It's just my gut feeling. Hope that helps.
