Back in

The hardest part of traveling, I found, was the return. My family and I would joke that we needed a vacation from our vacations. I guess at this point in time, the first vacation would be nice.
This past week I ventured with 32 kiddos and 3 other adults to summer camp and seeing as how I was technically "at work" I still feel as though I need a vacation.
I slept hard Wed. night knowing that as soon as I got up I'd have to get into the office to complete the preparations for Sunday.
Walking up those steps to my cubicle and then into the kid's rooms in Kid's Quest was one of the hardest things to do. I was dragging, fo sho. It was a joyous moment when I was done and received the "Do you wanna go swimming?" call from my husband.
I don't really remember doing very much when I finally got home. I do remember, however, that I was ready and waiting by the front door before anyone!
So we went swimming at a friend's apartment complex pool off of I-35 near Connely High School. We love going there because it's a beautiful pool, something our subdivision is lacking.
I laid back in one of the reclining chairs and envisioned myself somewhere off the Yucatan Peninsula.
When the sun made it's final departure for the night and I crawled into bed, I was never more glad that I switched my days off to Friday and Saturday because to me, these next days will be a vacation from...a not so vacation.
